 | Mr. Jones is responsible for managing and coordinating the
reimbursement contract negotiation and management function. |
|
 | Mr. Jones developed an automated interface between an HP-UNIX based Affinity HIS from
Compucare and a Dec-Open VMS based Trendstar financial system from
HBOC. He developed this
table-driven interface using TCP/IP, MUMPS query facility, Reflection communication
package with scripting language, VAX VMS, Microsoft Access and Windows. The interface is
fully user modifiable via a MS Access based front end and code MUMPS query facility code
generator that he wrote for the project. |

 | In addition to his HBOC Trendstar responsibilities, Mr. Jones is involved with all
hospital systems interfacing. He developed a number of interfaces (e.g. Compucare to HBOC,
Atlas MediQual to HBOC, AMS Materials Management to Atwork ORSOS, PDS payroll to Ceridian
payroll, and PDS payroll to EAS time management ) between various hospital systems -- now
using the HIE/Hublink Integrator interface engine. |

| Professional Experience |
1988 - 1993 CTG, Inc., Buffalo, NY
Consultant Senior Systems Engineer |
 | Mr. Jones managed a BAA through construction, IE project which reduced a Fortune 500
companys annual operating costs by $500k. He used the ADW CASE tool to support his
JAD session facilitation of planning, analysis, logical data and process modeling, and
design and RAD prototype validation. This multiple LAN, IBM 3090 MVS, client-server
project interacts with 35 time-clocks at 4 locations, has 200+ users managing
work-scheduling, work-time, vacation, absence, injuries, and payroll data for 2000+
employees. |
|
 | Mr. Jones was technical leader for a field-engineering project using Oracle for a
store/forward network including an IBM 9370 and 80 portable PCs. He remotely developed an
Oracle/Novell client-server reporting system. He developed a management support tool which
integrated standard products for project management, communication, statistical analysis,
and graphic presentation, to plan and manage standard/variation projects. |

| Professional Experience |
1978 - 1988 TNC,
Inc., Carlisle, PA
Software Development Manager / President / Owner |
 | Prior to joining CTG, Mr. Jones was the president and owner of a 20-employee company
specializing in the development of custom, multi-user, LAN based software for the
manufacturing and construction industries. |
|
 | Mr. Jones responsibilities included financing and management of TNC. He worked
with top-level executives of client companies to insure proper planning and execution of
projects. These included: a 5-year, multiple-site project implementing a large, integrated
MRP, Purchasing, A/R, A/P, G/L, and Payroll system on a 36-node CSMA/CD-parallel bus LAN
with central disk server. Mr. Jones solved numerous technical problems for this project
stemming from the lack of multi-user software development tools and slow, 4MHz, 8-bit
microprocessors. The solution included reverse engineering of Microsofts compiled
basic run-time in order to add file/record locking and inter-nodal communications features
allowing control of idle nodes for allocation of processes. The result was an MRP system
capacity of 17,500 transactions/day (exceeds capacity of MFG-3000 running on a top of line
HP 3000 minicomputer of the time). |
|
 | Mr. Jones and his staff developed a custom medical management system. The system
provided client tracking and billing (including multiple insurers and the need for data
supporting fee increases for subsequent years), for a multiple-physician, rural, medical
facility. |
|
 | Mr. Jones and his staff also developed and supported multi-user, micro-based systems
providing bid creation and management featuring automated plan "take-offs" using
"sonic-pen" digitizing, with full integration of accounting cycle functions. |
|
 | Mr. Jones developed a number of mass-market products for the Apple II+
computer. These included a personal database management system, educational software,
educational software authoring tool, and systems diagnostic disk. He also developed a
custom financial forecasting and management system with a user interface that anticipated
Visicalc (forerunner of Lotus/Excel). |
